Micronarc Forum 2010
In 2010 the yearly Micron-Arc forum was organized in close collaboration between Micron-Arc and the Nanotechnology Network. This year this event took place on November 10th at the engineering school in Fribourg and focused on technical and scientific aspects of nanomaterials. Five high quality speakers were invited and presented talks about nanoparticle characterization and fonctionalization, nanoparticle based coating and techniques to tune properties of polymer bulk material. This forum was attended by 90 participants – approximately half of them coming from industry. This event and in particular the program were highly appreciated by the participants. Christoph Weder held a presentation on functional polymers and Marc Pauchard presented the functioning on the Nanotechnology Network that is lead by the AMI in collaboration with the engineering school of Fribourg.
